Guess who that is talking? That's John Campanelli, the reporter who wrote that awesome story about me in The Cleveland Plain Dealer. He brought me that egg. From his very own chicken. How totally cool is that.

Central Park, Ice & Breathing

How's that for a title. We have been putting a display together at the store of Kate Spain's newest collection...Central Park.


Do you wander what I am looking at? A bunch of utility trucks from other citites. They are going to be helping the parts of Cleveland that are still without power because of the ice storm we had on Monday night. You have to see the picture my mom took of the tree right outside the store.

Oh and speaking of ice...I almost fell out the back door it was so slippery.

TJ is taking me home because I am having a little trouble breathing because of all the changes in the temperature lately.

I am a lucky sister to have such a good brother. Especially working right upstairs. Thanks Teej.

My Pillow for Kate

I have been working hard on a new project.

Most of the Moda designers have been showing pillows on their blogs all month.

They were asked to make a pillow that told a story about their life.

Some were cute.

Some were serious.

Some were simple.

And some were very detailed. Like my friend Kate's.

Hers told a complete story. You can read all about it here. Can you believe she used to draw Hello Kitty? Fun, fun, fun.

I decided if I were making a pillow about Kate it would be one big gigantic heart. Because that is how big her heart is. And then I would put a message on it...

It Says I'm a Star

We had an ice storm in Cleveland today. My mom told me my picture was suppose to be in the paper.

But the paper was out at the end of the driveway. Neither one of us wanted to go out to get it because we were still in our pajamas.

Later in the day I had music therapy. While we were backing out of the drive, my mom stopped to pick up the paper. We decided it would be a good idea to open it with Bonnie, my music therapist. Afterall, I said that is what makes me happy...music therapy.

I started turning the pages. I spotted the Ohio State basketball players, Go Bucks!!!, but not me.

And then all of a sudden there it was. Ahh...I liked the picture. And then Bonnie helped me read it. It says I am a star. Wow, I liked that.

I could not believe that was me in the newspaper. Thank you John and Lynn.

Late Breaking News

We have just been alerted by two friends in Texas, how's that for the power of social media, that Sarah's story is now live on www.cleveland.com/.

The Paparazzi

OMG!! After John, the reporter left, next thing you know there are paparazzi after me. Hey, that's another Lady Gaga song I could sing for share day. LoL.

No not really. Not the paparazzi. It was Lynn Ischay, the award winning photographer from The Cleveland Plain Dealer.

At first I was not so excited to be having my picture taken, but then Lynn started showing me her camera. She was so nice too. My mom was seriously jealous of that camera.

Then I got to see me on the screen. That was pretty fun. Do you see the scissors in my hand? We used them as a prop. I had to be very careful. I told Lynn I did not want any teeth in my picture. She said she would make sure to tell the editor. How do you like that? I am bossing a newspaper editor!!! This is crazy.

The Reporter

My mom told me a reporter was coming to the store today. To interview me. Me. As in ME!!!!

Meet John. John Campanelli. He works for The Cleveland Plain Dealer.

He asked me a bunch of questions. Like...what was my favorite food? and...what was on my iPod. and...my favorite movie. Then we got to laughing. He was sooooo nice. He said he was reading my blog. He asked me about all of our blog followers.

So I got all the cards out that everyone sent me when we opened the store. He was very impressed. We told him how we have never met most of you, but you are like friends to me and my mom. After a while it was time for him to go. He said he would be writing about me one day soon. How cool.

I put it in my hat. My mom said that was a good idea. She said I come up with the best plans. Now just where did I get this chicken egg you ask? Stay tuned...

I love the Buckeyes. I can't wait to go to a game again. And guess what? There is a new little Brutus fan in Ohio. Yep, Cayman has a baby brother. His name is Kobe. I love that name and he is so cute. I wonder how old he will be before he goes to his first game?
