Opening Duties

I have specific job assignments every morning at the store.

The first thing is to get the cash drawer ready.

I separate all the coins.

Looks perfect. Then I take it over and put it into the cash register.

Next I vacuum. On this day, I was getting ready for some new furniture to arrive.

Then I have to put our store labels onto the bags.

I like this job. Once that is done, it is time to open the front doors for the customers to arrive.

Introducing...

my new friend Dawn. Haaa...she is a puppet. We worked with puppets at music camp this week.

Here are some of my friends and their puppets.

Today we presented a puppet show. My dad came to see it. He liked it.

All of a sudden I realized Matt was not here. So I said, "Dad, where is Matt?" He what? He stayed home. I was not too happy about that. Then my mom reminded me that they all came from the office so there was not time to go home to get him.

OMG!!!! My brother drove here. So on the way home my dad sat in front and me and my mom sat in the back. That was sorta weird. A...hey big bro...aren't you suppose to have two hands on the wheels? LOL!!! Stay tuned for a video of the puppet show.

The Day I Met Kate Spain

I have been waiting for this day for a long time.

I was so excited when Kate Spain walked into our store. She is so nice.

Then something really amazing happened. My music therapist Bonnie, got to meet Kate. There I was talking to Kate and Bonnie at the same time. How awesome is that!!

There were so many people in our store today. I was trying to meet all of them.

Kate was helping me talk to some of the customers. Do you see the cute little bag in my hand? Kate gave it to me. It is made out of Verna, Kate's first fabric collection.

Finally after about an hour, I got to take Kate back to meet my mom. She was busy cutting fabric this whole time. She was so excited because Kate brought her a bag too. Inside are all kinds of scrapbooking goodies. My mom sure loves that.

Look at this. More and more customers. I think those two ladies were here earlier in the week. We have only been open for six days and we already have repeat customers. Do you see me sitting over at the counter. I like that spot.

OMG!!! Look at this. One of the women was carrying this bag. OMG!!! It is Zac Efron and you know how I love him:)

I was so excited when Mackenzie came. She is the daughter of the man who made all our cabinets. She is so excited to learn to sew. She wants to be a designer someday. So she came to meet Kate too...
